Our song "Exactly" off the "Field Day" album (2009) was recently used in the major motion picture "The Greening Of Whitney Brown" featuring Kris Kristofferson, Brooke Shields and starring Sammi Hanratty. This is a fantastic coming of age film and we're proud that "Exactly" is a part of it!

L.A. CONFIDENTIAL
Our show in L.A. was a blast and we are happy to report that we had a full room at the Hotel Cafe. Big thanks to all of you who were there! We also performed several acoustic shows in the offices of TV production and licensing companies and will report on what, if anything, comes of all that...Oh and the Mall of America show on Black Friday was nuts...and fun.

The band performed "Blue Christmas" on KSTP Channel 5 "Twin Cities Live" yesterday- did you catch it? If not, you can watch the performance here! There are a couple creative spellings, see if you can find them!

We are excited that many of you are responding that you will join us this Thursday at the Hotel Cafe, Hollywood for our show from 9- 9:45 p.m. IT WILL BE A BIG SHOW AND WE WANT/ NEED/ LOVE to have you there. We will play some new songs including co-writes with L.A. artists Anna Nalick, Jonny Lang, Matthew Puckett & Beau Black. We may perform "Lovefool" by The Cardigans because...hey we are kids of the 90's and kinda sound like them. The band is newly configured as Mari leaves the drums and takes lead vocals from the front. We are joined by drummer "Steady Eddie" (who moved from Chicago to Minneapolis to join the band full-time). Tickets are $10 BUT everyone gets a copy of our new CD "One Of These Days" - we need to sell tickets...or we won't be invited back.

*We have been a band for 7 years and full-time touring after leaving college 3 years ago. We were not expelled.
*We really are siblings...Mari is 21 and the youngest not the oldest! Matt is 24 (not 18); Jake is 25 and looks it.

Lynhurst Returns to Los Angeles!

Most of you know that the band has spent extended periods of time writing songs and performing in the the City of Angels over the last couple years. We've made a lot of friends there and are especially grateful to the The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, where we have played many times and are returning on November 17 at 9 p.m.! We will introduce our new drummer, Steady Eddie and fresh songs from our latest release, "One Of These Days." This will be a big night! Tickets are now available on the Hotel Cafe website. Lynhurst Plays NYC!
From the Minne-apple to the Big Apple comes LYNHURST! The band plays Rockwood Music Hall in NYC on Tuesday, October 25 at 7 p.m. No cover and we will give our new EP "One Of These Days" to all. The hat will be passed. This is a big show for us, we don't play New York often and we really hope you will join us!


Back to L.A.
Heads-up L.A.! The band returns to Hollywood to perform the Hotel Cafe on November 17! We can't wait to see our L.A. friends again. Cover is $10 and an EP will be given with every admission. Pre-Sale tickets are available now! Please buy early and make plans!

Since we were last on the coasts, we have been full-time writing, recording and touring. We have evolved again! NYC and L.A. have not seen the new look with Mari up front on vocals and new drummer Steady Eddie. Along withnew songs from our new EP "One Of These Days," it's going to be a night of newness.

Hello Friends of Lynhurst!
We are playing a number of exciting shows this week and would love to have you there! TOMORROW, Thursday September 29 we will be playing a new music venue in downtown Minneapolis called The Crooked Pint Ale House. They did a fantastic job putting this place together! It is wonderful to see new music venues coming up in the Twin Cities and The Crooked Pint is one of our favorites.

Milwaukee
This Saturday, Lynhurst will be a part of the very cool Yellow Phone Music Conference. This is in Milwaukee and is focused on developing artists. Lynhurst performs the wild Red Rock Saloon! Click here for the Yellow Phone website.

Chicago
This Tuesday, October 4 we will return to Chicago, the hometown of our drummer Steady Eddie! The performance will be at the Tonic Room with the very swanky Chicago based band Mos Scocious. East Coast
We will be heading out to the East Coast in late October, with a college date booked in Conneticut and a show at the Rockwood in NYC on October 25. Stay tuned for additional performances.

Lynhurst Pulls The Plug...Twice

First and unfortunately, the Lynhurst/ Tim Mahoney show at the Maplewood Performing Arts Theater scheduled for tomorrow (September 16) has been canceled. To get ticket refunds, please contact the venue.

But second, Lynhurst returns to the Aster Cafe, one of our favorite venues in the Twin Cities for a special unplugged performance on Tuesday, September 20 at 9 p.m. Come see our stripped down show with acoustic guitars and a cajon in this intimate venue on the banks of the Mississippi river!

On The Radio
You can hear us on KFAI (90.3 Minneapolis - 106.7 St. Paul) FM Radio Antilles program TOMORROW at 1:30 p.m. CST. We will be talking about the band and playing cuts off the new EP "One Of These Days." Tune in!
